John Bramham and Thomas Milam Culpeper County, Virginia, Land Surveys

Prepared from Northern Neck Warrants and Surveys

By 10 OCT 1747, Mylum {Milam} and Bramham had a warrant for 408 acres. Bramham had his half surveyed on 12 MAY 1748 when Mylum disputed the dividing line. Mylum's half was surveyed on 15 JUN 1749. Having visited the property, Mylum definitely obtained the more farmable land since his half lies on both the north and south sides of the Rose River and has more bottom farm land.

This topographic map was prepared for me by Robert Vernon of Charlottesville.
